Watford’s Isaac Success ruled out of Hull City game

The Nigerian youngster has been ruled out of Saturday’s tie against the Tigers after he failed to recover from injury.

Walter Mazzarri has revealed that Isaac Success will play no part when Watford face Hull City in Saturday’s English Premier League encounter.

The Nigerian suffered an injury in the Hornets’ 1-0 win against Middlesbrough two weeks ago – which ruled him out of their 0-0 draw against Swansea.

The Italian tactician during his pre-match briefing lamented the absence of the former Granada forward.

“Unfortunately Success won’t be available for Saturday,” said Mazzarri.

“We are preparing in the best possible way and we know it won’t be an easy game.

“We didn’t need this injury. He was a player giving us a lot of satisfaction, and as a professional he was growing a lot on the pitch. It was something we didn’t need and I’m very sad about it.

“Unfortunately it looks like not being a slight injury. We’ll be able to be more precise after the international break.”

Success has played six league games, scoring a goal, for the Vicarage Road outfit who are a place above the mid table with 12 points from nine games.

With this, Mazzarri could give Odion Ighalo the nod to pair captain Troy Deeney in the attack.
