Wilfried Bony has been accused of getting a 23-year-old student pregnant, in an angry message from the girl’s sister on his Instagram page.
The Sun report that the married Manchester City striker is understood to be prepared to take a paternity test to prove that he is not the father of the unborn child, while a spokesman called the claims ‘upsetting and distressing’.
Student Courtney Ngobe posted a picture of an ultrasound on her Instagram account, tagging Bony and writing: “Our gift from God. A blessing sent from heaven. Created with a purpose, and part of God’s perfect plan.”
Ngobe’s sister then commented on Bony’s Instagram account this week: “I’ve sat back and said nothing while you ruin my little sister’s life.If you don’t want children how about you learn how to use a CONDOM!!!!!!!!
“You told her you would support her to turn around and do absolutely NOTHING!! All you’ve done is cause nothing but stress and grief for my sister. Once we prove the child is yours you can’t take these 8 months back! We don’t want your money but you have to provide for your child!”
She later told The Sun: “Bony chased my sister over Instagram. She had no idea he was married with kids. She’s a 23-year-old girl and she’s naïve, but she fell for him. He has demanded a paternity test and when she agreed to give one before the birth he said no he’ll wait until after.”
The newspaper report that a spokesman for the City man said: “Mr Bony has been made aware of various social media posts which are both upsetting and distressing for him and his family. Mr Bony asks that his privacy and his family’s privacy be respected at this time.”
